After much waiting the prelude to the mega film 'Dasavadharam' happened with much celebrations during the audio launch of the film that was held in Chennai.
The cast and crew prided in bringing a glimpse of what is to come to the eagerly waiting film fanatics. What follows is a curtain raiser to the film that is sure to challenge all the movies released so far in terms of technical as well as aesthetic aspects.
Just when we thought we had seen it all, every possible avatar an actor can take; Kamal Haasan spellbinds his audience and critics once again with his upcoming project 'Dasavathaaram'. Portraying ten different uniquely etched characters, he brings each of them to life with his unmatched versatility. He has also penned the racy screenplay himself. K.S. Ravi Kumar, a director who has the pulse of the audience in his hand, has directed this film. He has quoted that "the audience expects a lot from this movie and it has come out well enough to live up to that." 'Dasavadharam' interestingly has two music directors. Himesh Reshamiya has scored the music for songs which have come out very well. They are a rage among the fans at the moment. The background music for the film has been scored by Devi Sri Prasad.
This is what Kamal Haasan had to say to audience about watching 'Dasavadharam'. "I think, basically I am a cinema fan. And I have given you what I would like to see as a sensible cinema fan. So, I think your intelligence will not be insulted, your time will not be wasted, and you will really enjoy this film." Asin and Mallika Sherawat have acted opposite Kamal in this film with a special appearance from the beautiful Jaya Pradha.
The art direction has been taken care of by the award winning Thotta Tharani.

Told with panache and humor, 'Dasavathaaram' does not take the IQ and the aesthetics of the Indian film going public lightly. It is one of the very few movies which will deliver what it promises, and a little more!
A film that is bound to set a new benchmark in cinematic excellence and in box-office.
Hats off Himesh Reshammiya for Music at his best.
