Will the attack on Tamil establishments come to end? Will the theatres in Karnataka be allowed to screen Tamil movies? This are the questions doing rounds in Kollywood after the fast observed by the Tamil fraternity condemning the attack on Tamil establishments in neighboring Karnataka over the Hogenakkal Joint Drinking Water Scheme.
Tempers flayed and film personalities spoke in stern voice against the attack on Tamils.
Rajinikanth urged the politicians to solve the issue at the earliest and work without any selfish motives.
Actors Kamal Haasan and Vijayakanth, while acknowledging the requirements of Tamil Nadu, cautioned against burning bridges with the neighboring State and provoking violence in response to the violence in Karnataka.
The industry has come together to show their solidarity. But this should not be the end. They should continue their joint effort to work as stimuli to find an amicable solution, opines a cross-section of Tamils.
