Priyadarshan is ready with his latest film titled ‘Mere Baap Pehle Aap’ with seasoned actors like Paresh Rawal, Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri, Akshaye Khanna and Rajpal Yadav who have tickled the funny bones in many a films.
Ritesh Deshmukh’s close friend Genelia D’Souza too makes a comeback in Hindi films after a long time. She was earlier seen in Tujhe Meri Kasam and Masti opposite Ritesh Deshmukh.
The music of Mere Baap Pehle Aap has been composed by Vidyasagar and the lyrics have been penned by Priyadarshan’s favourite lyricist - Sameer.
Paresh Rawal, who plays Janaradhan Wishvanbhar Rane (Paresh Rawal) in the movie, is a widower. He has two sons Chirag (Manoj Joshi) and Gaurav (Akshaye Khanna). Janardhan dedicates his life for the proper upbringing of his two sons.
When the kids grow up, the younger son Gaurav starts taking care of his father. He keeps a watchful eye on his father’s activities and protects him from the shadow of Madhav Mathur (Om Puri), Janardhan’s best friend. Madhav is a divorcee, looking forward to re-settle in life. Gaurav has to burn the brunt of the pranks played by Madhav in the company of his father Janardhan.
Soon, a girl enters into Gaurav’s life – Sheeka Kapoor (Genelia D’Souza). Sheekha is a young and chirpy girl, who gets in touch with her old college friend Gaurav. Moreover, Sheekha’s guardian Anuradha (Shobhana) is Janardhan’s first love.
When Gaurav observes the change in the behavioural pattern of his father, he decides to link up the couple once again. With Sheekha’s help, Gaurav devices plan to make his father marry his first love.
With Madhav joining the duo, the proceedings become more hilarious. The awesome threesome craves out tricky routes to attain their mission.
All this also includes the making of Gaurav and Sheekha’s love history.
