Silambarasan has been churning out one movie after the other and the latest in the row to hit the screens is Kettavan, which also happens to be his directorial venture. With his production house, Simbu Cine Arts deciding to purchase this film from Bharathan Films for Rs. 3.10 crores, it looks like Silambarasan’s sense of business is on an all time high. Of this amount, sources say that Rs. 1.10 crores has already been paid.
His next film, Silambattam, will be for Lakshmi Movie Makers. Being a double heroine subject, Shana Khan and Kajal Agarwal has bagged the lead roles. And this eager beaver has projects even beyond this. Paneerselvam, an assistant of director Lingusamy, is expected to direct a film that will commence after Silambattam. G.J. Cinema of Neranja Mansu fame will produce it.
